Privacy Policy
Effective 9 October 2026 · ghosttechlab.com, operated by Kagujje Inc.
This policy explains what information Ghost Tech collects when you use this site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can and never sell your personal information.
Information we collect
- Account details — your email address and name. When you sign up or sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google; nothing else from your Google Account.
- Password — if you set one, it is stored only as a salted cryptographic hash. We never keep passwords in plain text.
- Orders and wallet — your purchase history, wallet balance and top-up records (amounts, references and status), so your account history is accurate and auditable.
- Payment details — card numbers, PINs and Mobile Money (M-Pesa) credentials are entered on and handled by our payment processor. They never reach our servers; we only see transaction references and outcomes.
- Messages — anything you send us through support channels (WhatsApp, Telegram or email).
- Device basics — standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) used for security and abuse prevention.
How we use it
- To run the site: create your account, keep your wallet balance and show your orders.
- To deliver what you buy and handle support requests about it.
- To protect accounts and transactions from fraud and abuse.
- To meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
Google sign-in
If you choose Continue with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us under the openid, email and profile scopes — used only to identify you and sign you in. You can review or revoke this at any time in your Google Account permissions. Revoking access does not delete your Ghost Tech account; contact support if you want it removed.
Payments
Top-ups and purchases are processed by our payment provider using Mobile Money and card networks. We store the reference, amount and status of each transaction — never your full card number or Mobile Money PIN. All prices on the site are in USD.
Sharing
We share data only with the payment processor (to complete transactions you initiate), with authorities when the law requires it, and with service providers who help us run the site under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles from it.
Cookies and local storage
- An essential session cookie keeps you signed in. Without it the site cannot remember your session.
- Your theme preference (dark or light) is stored in your browser's local storage.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers on this site.
Retention and deletion
We keep account information while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data and sign you out everywhere; transaction records we must keep for accounting or legal reasons are retained only as long as required. To request deletion, contact support with the email address on the account.
Security
Traffic to the site is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, and access to our systems is limited to what the service needs. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep your Google account safe.
Children
Ghost Tech is a service for adults and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update this page and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
